Main Point of these Episodes:

These episodes seem to have slightly different points. The Prisoner of the Pyramid was definitely an information based episode. It explained to us the inner working of the Digital World and just how it was connected to the real world. The Eathquake of Metalgreymon was pretty visual, demonstrating Tai’s use of courage and just how the group works together especially in fights. And Home Away From Home was something different completely. It set another change in the story, with Etemon gone, this episode displayed another turning point in Digimon, as well as explains furthermore how events in the Digital World effect the real world.

Digimon Introduced In these Episodes:

  • Tai’s Digimon Agumon digivolved to Greymon and then MetalGreymon (3D animation ftw) and then back down to Koromon.

Favourite Quotes:

The Prisoner of the Pyramid-

Gazimon: “Yes oh mighty Etemon, sir. Most majestic royal one.”

The Earthquake of Metalgreymon  –

Tai: “Come On Izzy, let’s move out!”

Izzy: “Roger.”

Mimi: “He forgot his name!”

Mim: “Matt and Joe need our help! Please Palmon you’ve got to digivovle right away.”

Home Away From Home –

Kari: “Hi Koromon.”

Tai: “Kari, how did you know his name?”

Koromon: “Maybe she knows my name because, your sister’s a lot smarter than you.”

Tai: “Oh. I don’t know. This moving back and forth from one time dimension to another is mega whacked. No one’s ever sure whether they’re here or now or there and then. Sometimes I feel more like i’m where and when rather than here or there or what did I just say? I’m confusing myself.”

Ultimate Ranking!

This week, The Prisoner of the Pyramid brings back memories but fails to impress us but fits a good spot at  number 16. Meanwhile The Earthquake of Metalgreymon manages to squeeze its way into the top ten, by landing in number 10. Lastly, Home Away From Home, finds itself at number 6.

Due to the fact that we weren’t really introduced to that many new Digimon in these episodes we decided not to have a Digibattle this week.

The winner of LAST weeks Digibattle however was Piximon! Guess skill beats power everytime.
